Itinerary
Day 1: Singapore – Shanghai – Xi’an
Assemble at Changi Airport for your flight to Xi’an via Shanghai. Xi’an is the capital city of Shaanxi province. It is the political, economic, cultural and traffic centre. Xian is one of the birthplaces of the ancient civilization in the Yellow River basin area of the country. During Xian’s 3100 year development, 13 dynasties such as Western Zhou (11th century BC-771BC), Qin(221 BC – 24AD) and Tang (618-907) placed their capitals here. Upon arrival, visit Tang Paradise is the first Imperial Garden of cultural theme park to expose the wonder of Tang Dynasty. After dinner, proceed to Bell Tower and Drum Tower Square, the symbol of Xi’an and Muslim Street is a fantastic place to wonder, where all shops and restaurants in street are operated by Muslim.

Day 2: Xi’an – Mount Huashan
After breakfast, proceed to the Eight Wonders of the world – Terra Cotta Warriors. The Terra Cotta Warriors and horses are the most significant archaeological excavations of the 20th century. Work is ongoing at this site, which is around 1.5 km east of Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s Mausoleum. It is a sight not to be missed by any visitor to China. Terra Cotta Warriors and horse museum is used for studying the military, cultural and merchant. Also, it has been listed as one of the world heritage by UNESCO. In the afternoon, visit Huaqing Pool which is a well -known scenic spot and location for hot springs. In Qin Dynasty, a stone pool was built and given the name-the Li Palace-for the Emperor Xuanzong and his concubine Yang Guifei during the Tang Dynasty. Thereafter, take coach to Mount Huashan.

Day 3: Mount Huashan – Xi’an
Mount Huasha is one of the five best-known mountains in China. It is known as “The Number One Precipitous Mountains under Heaven”. It is situated in Huayin City, 120km east from Xi’an City, with an elevation of 2200 meters about sea level. We’ll take a cable car to the North Peak (Cloud Terrace Peak). There are precipitous cliffs on all sides of North Peak, making it look like a flat terrace in the clouds, hence the name Cloud Terrace Peak. It is 1,614 meters high. Three sides are cliffs and one side is to the 'Ca'er Cliff' which is the fourth precipitous path where tourists can climb up only by pressing an ear close to the cliff. In the waist of North Peak trees are luxuriantly green, creating a good rest spot. In the afternoon, take coach back to Xi’an and proceed to Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The structure was built in 652 during the Tang Dynasty and originally had five stories. One of the pagoda's many functions was to hold sutras and figurines of the Buddha that were brought to China from India by the Buddhist translator and traveller Xuanzang. Next, visit City Wall. The City Wall of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) is the largest and most intact Ming Dynasty castle in the world.

Day 4: Xi’an – Chongqing
Today we’ll fly to Chongqing. Upon arrival, we proceed on a sightseeing tour of Chaotianmen Square. Built in the summer of 1988 and covering an area of 800,000 square meters, it serves the purposes of sightseeing, transport and river bank protection. Next visit The Grand People’s Hall and Erling Park. The Grand People’s Hall sports a unique, artistic architectural design that is worth viewing. Tonight, we transfer to the harbour and board our Yangtze River cruise.

Day 5: Yangtze River - Ghost City Fengdu
The highlight of tour is definitely the voyage by luxurious cruise upon the Yangtze River through the Three Gorges on the borders of Sichuan and Hubei (Chongqing to Yichang). The Three Gorges, namely Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge and Xiling Gorge, each present a different angle of beauty of the Yangtze River. Few stops along your Three-nights-cruise-tour will also review to you various cultures of people living by water since ancient. A shore excursion takes you to see Fengdu "Ghost City". Fengdu which is also called the Ghost City is the hometown of Chinese ghost culture. It got its reputation as the "Ghost City" in the Eastern Han Dynasty.

Day 6: Yangtze River - Shenlong Stream or Xiaosanxia
Cruise through the first of fabled Three Gorges: Qutang gorge framed by steep mossy cliffs, then sail on through Wu gorge celebrated for its 12 peaks. At Badong transfer to a small cruise for an exciting excursion on Shenlong Stream to view its breathtaking small gorges. Next sail through Xiling gorge the last and most scenic of all the gorges. Finally, pass through the dramatic three gorges Dam ship lock.

Day 7: Yangtze River – Yichang – Wuhan
This morning stop at Sandouping to view the historic Three Gorges Dam the largest hydroelectric project in the world. Thereafter, proceed to Wuhan - the capital city of Hubei province.

Day 8: Wuhan – Shanghai – Singapore
After breakfast, we’ll visit Yellow Crane Tower. As one of the most famous and spectacular Towers in China, the Yellow Crane Tower is a must to visit. Its cultural significance led to it being made the symbol of Wuhan. After that, transfer to the airport for domestic flight followed by the international flight back to Singapore.
