Itinerary

Day 1: Singapore / Chongqing
Assemble at Changi Airport for your flight to Chongqing. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and transfer to board your deluxe Regal China cruise and settle in to your comfortable outside cabin to begin your memorable Yangtze River Cruise.


Day 2: Yangtze River / Ghost City Fengdu
Set sail this morning. The highlight of tour is definitely the voyage by luxurious cruise upon the Yangtze River through the Three Gorges on the borders of Sichuan and Hubei (Chongqing to Yichang). The Three Gorges, namely Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge and Xiling Gorge, each present a different angle of beauty of the Yangtze River. Few stops along your Three-nights-cruise-tour will also review to you various cultures of people living by water since ancient. A shore excursion takes you to see Fengdu "Ghost City". This afternoon .Fengdu which is also called the Ghost City is the hometown of Chinese ghost culture. It got its reputation as the "Ghost City" in the Eastern Han Dynasty.

Day 3: Yangtze River / Shenlong Stream or Xiaosanxia
Cruise through the first of fabled Three Gorges: Qutang gorge framed by steep mossy cliffs, then sail on through Wu gorge celebrated for its 12 peaks. At Badong transfer to a small cruise for an exciting excursion on Shenlong Stream to view its breathtaking small gorges. Next sail through Xiling gorge the last and most scenic of all the gorges. Finally, pass through the dramatic Three Gorges Dam ship lock.

Day 4: Yangtze - Three Gorges Dam / Wuhan
This morning stop at Sandouping to view the historic Three Gorges Dam the largest hydroelectric project in the world. Reboard the ship and sail on to the capital city of Hubei Province Wuhan where you disembark.

Day 5: Wuhan / Chongqing
Arrive at Wuhan around 12:00 and disembark. Wuhan is the capital city of Hubei Province and it is also the largest city in Central China. In Wuhan, you’ll visit the Yellow Crane Tower and see the beautiful city along the Yangtze River. Then you’ll flight to Chongqing by domestic airline after dinner.

Day 6: Chongqing / Dazu Stone Carvings
Today, we will visit Dazu Stone Carvings. In Dazu County, Some 165km away from Chongqing, is famous its stone carvings, with more than 100,000 pieces left over from the Tang (628-907) and Song (960-1279) dynasties. The well-preserved carvings are representative of an ancient Chinese art tradition. They also take a very important position in the religious, artistic and cultural history of China. Stone carvings are found in more than 70 places scattered throughout the county of Dazu. The largest, richest and most exquisite collection of statues is at the foot of Baoshan Hill and North Hill. The stone carvings along the Baoding Hill were hewn out from1174 to 1249. The row is 500 meters long and consists of nearly 10,000 statues, of which the most distinctive and majestic are the “Thousand-arm Goddess of Mercy” and the 31-meter long sleeping Buddha. These stone carvings are unparalleled works of art in the world and were included by UNESCO as a World Heritage site in 1999.

Day 7: Chongqing
Chongqing is the largest city in Southwest China. Unlike the rest of the cities the more observant will notice that not much bicycles are in sight due to the many steep roads in Chongqing, another name of which Mountain City. Today you will visit the famous Chaotianmen Square, Erling Park and The Grand People's Hall. After lunch you will be check in to your hotel. Free on your own leisure this afternoon. Dinner on your own arrange.

Day 8: Chongqing / Singapore
Today is a free day till been transferred to the locals restaurant for dinner. Stop at the famous Hot Spring Resort to enjoy a session of hot spring bath before going to the airport for your flight back to Singapore. We hope you enjoyed your vacation with CTC Holidays.
