Itinerary

Day 1: SINGAPORE - XIAMEN
Assemble at Changi International Airport for your flight to Xiamen, the second biggest city in Fujian Province. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and visit Huxi (Tiger Creek) Rock. Legend has it that a tiger was living under the rock near a river, hence the name. Then visit the new scenic spots-Huandao Road and Bailu Park.
Dinner

Day 2: XIAMEN - CHAOZHOU
After breakfast explore the picturesque island of many rocks - Gulangyu Island, also known as ‘The Garden by the Sea”. Stop at the Piano Museum where more than 30 branded old pianos are on display. Shuzhuang Garden on the island is much visited. Take a far view of the Riguang Cave- the summit of Gulangyu Island. Enjoy the Xiamen Vegetarian Meal for lunch. Visit the Nanputuo Temple, one of the bestknown Buddhist monasteries in southern Fujian. Visit the shopping street along the Xiamen University. Then stop at Aoyuan Garden that houses the Jimei Liberation Monument. Visit the Jimei Village and the Former Residence of Mr. Tan Kah Kee- a building of typical southern- Fujian style. Afterwards leave for Chaozhou.

Day 3: CHAOZHOU - SHANTOU
After breakfast visit HanWenGong Shrine, built to commemorate Han Yu, dedicated to the Tang Dynast. Next, visit Kaiyuan Temple -a group of Tang Dynasty buildings built in the Chinese style of quadrangular courtyards. Take a distant view of Xiang Zi Bridge of Chaozhou. It was built in Song Dynasty, giving it a history of eight centuries. You will also visit Beige Fudeng and Guangji Gate. Afterwards take the coach to Shantou.

Day 4: SHANTOU
After breakfast proceed to the popular People’s Square, Binhai Walkway and Mayu Island. The island began as a customhouse in Qing Dynasty, and an ancient temple of Tianhou was built there in Yuan Dynasty. Then visit the Shipaotai Park and Longquan Cave. Afterwards do some leisure shopping along the Walking Street.

Day 5: SHANTOU - XIAMEN - SINGAPORE
After breakfast, return to Xiamen and you are free at leisure till your transfer to the international airport for your flight back to Singapore. We hope you have enjoyed your holiday with CTC Holidays.
