Itinerary


Day 1: DAY-1-SINGAPORE-SHANGHAI-SUZHOU

Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Shanghai. Depart for Suzhou by coach. Upon arrival, visit the exquisite Net Master Garden, the smallest and best-preserved private garden in Suzhou. Move on to Hanshan Temple, to view paintings, inscriptions and other precious artefacts. Next, proceed to Suzhou Silk Factory to view a collection of top quality silk fashion.

If you are arriving Shanghai in the afternoon on Day 1, you will have lunch on board.
If there are passengers taking flights depart in afternoon, you could be having dinner on board and staying in Shanghai on the first night.

Day 2: DAY2-SUZHOU-WUXI-NANJING

After breakfast, proceed to Wuxi, visit Three Kingdoms Park, the filming site of the TV drama serial ‘The Three Kingdoms’. Next, take a cruise on the picturesque Taihu Lake. After visiting Taihu Lake Pearl culture factory or Zisha Teapot, continue to Nanjing. Upon arrival, Si Fang Cheng (Square City), which is actually a tablet pavilion. The tablet was built to commemorate his grandfather Zhu Yuanzhang by Emperor Zhu Li in Ming Dynasty. The top of the tablet was destroyed. The remaining parts are four walls in the shape of square and a tablet. The content of the tablet was written by Emperor Zhu Li in person. It narrates the great merit of Zhu Yuanzhang, the founder of Ming Dynasty. Being one of the largest extant tablets in China, it has more than 2700 Chinese characters on it. Each character is as big as a man's fist. When seeing it, you'll have to acclaim the tablet as the acme of perfection. Enjoy Nanjing saltwater duck for dinner.

Day 3: DAY3-NANJING-MT-HUANGSHAN

After breakfast, proceed to view the magnificent Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge. Standing tall and strong over the Yangtze River, the bridge is a majestic sight to behold. You can view the exquisite art by skilful Nanjing artists and a display of crystal art. Continue to visit the grand Dr Sun Yat Sen Mausoleum. Move on to Taiping for night.

Day 4: DAY4-MT-HUANGSHAN

After breakfast, take cable car at Taiping up to Mt. Huangshan Scenic Area, one of China’s famous scenic sights. You will view Mt Huangshan’s uniquely shaped pines, fantastic rock peaks and sea of clouds. The mystic clouds drift in and out, changing the scenery from time to time as the mist rises and ebbs. Of all its numerous peaks, 72 are named by their shapes or after certain historical and religious figures or themes. Visit West Sea Cloud Pavilion, also known as “Unique Rock Formation Museum”. Continue to Northen Sea Scenic Area? Tonight, enjoy Huangshan Hui Cuisine for dinner.

Day 5: DAY5-MT-HUANGSHAN-HONG-VILLAGE-TUNXI

After breakfast, take a leisurely cable ride to Yuping Scenic Area (Jade Screen), explore Guest-Greeting Pine, one of ten unique pines in Mt. Huangshan, it is also the most famous one during these pines. You will have a view of opposite Tiandu Peak from Yuping Peak (Jade Screen Peak). Visit a shop that sells local products and continue to visit Hong Village, a “cow-shaped”, well-preserved mountain village surrounded by crystal clear lakes and composed of a unique building architecture.

Day 6: DAY6-YUNXI-FENGLEHU-SCENIC-AREA-HANGZHOU

After breakfast, proceed to Fenglehu, also known as “Heavenly Lake”. Fenglehu is very close to Mt Huangshan scenic area, and composes a harmonious picture together. Beautiful mountains surround the lake, filled with pure, clean and green water. Continue to Hangzhou after lunch. Upon arrival, visit Jingci Temple (Monk Ji Gong Memorial) and Evening Bell Ringing at Nanping Hill (Nan Ping Wan Zhong). Monk Ji Gong Memorial, which is specially built to commemorate him. Legend goes that Monk Ji Gong was kicked out of the temple because of his odd behavior that he ate meat and drank wine. This monk is also known as a Robin Hood in China who left a lot of popular stories. Enjoy the famous West Lake vinegared fish for dinner.
Note:
Generally, Dry Season for Fenglehu is from 15th Nov to the beginning of March in next year, thus, during this period, Fenglehu Scenic Area will change to Huashanmiku.

Day 7: DAY-7-HANGZHOU-SHANGHAI

Hangzhou is famously known as ‘Paradise on Earth’. After breakfast, take a leisurely cruise on the lovely West Lake, which is enveloped by lush green hills with its clear waters reflecting the surrounding landscape. Thereafter, visit Cheng Huang Pavilion where one can have excellent view of the West Lake and southern Hangzhou.  Take the opportunity to sample Longjin tea, a famous Chinese tea. Transfer to Shanghai, visit Nanjing Road, one of Shanghai’s major shopping areas, and Shanghai Bund. Thereafter, and enjoy mouth-watering Shanghainese steamed buns tonight.

Day 8: DAY-8-SHANGHAI

After breakfast, discover the charms of this vibrant city at Shanghai. Head for the Chenghuangmiao Shopping Area, Huaihai Street and Shanghai Xintiandi for some fantastic shopping.

Day 9: SHANGHAI-SINGAPORE
If time permits, you can do some last minute shopping before you transfer to the airport for your flight home.
