Itinerary
Day 1: SINGAPORE-NANJING
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Nanjing, one of the 7 oldest cities in China. Proceed to Dr Sun Yat Sen Mausoleum, where Dr Sun’s tomb resides. Visit the postcard-pretty Xuanwu Lake Park. Facing the city while back dropped by mountains on three sides, the 15-km-wide Xuanwu Lake is dotted with causeways and islands. En route, you will pass the magnificent Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge, standing tall and strong over the Yangtze River, the bridge is a majestic sight to behold. Confucuis Temple (Fuzimiao) was built during the Song Dynasty and is situated on the north bank of the Qinhua River, the entire area around the Temple consists of a series of tourist shops, snack bars, restaurants and entertainment arcades all done up in ‘Ming’ and ‘Qing’ style architecture.
MEALS ON BOARD/DINNER
Day 2: NANJING-YANGZHOU-WUXI
In the morning, proceed to Yangzhou, a famous historical and cultural city noted for its elegant gardens and artificial rockwork. Tour Slender West Lake, named for its narrow body and beauty that rivals that of Hangzhou’s West Lake, features exquisite landscaped gardens, platforms and pavilions. Continue to Wuxi, an important city in Jiangsu that boasts gentle weather and fertile soils. Upon arrival, visit Three Kingdoms Park, the filming site of the TV drama serial ‘The Three Kingdoms’. Next, take a cruise on the picturesque Taihu Lake. Continue to visit a zisha teapot factory and Xihui Garden.

Day 3: WUXI-SUZHOU
After breakfast, proceed to Suzhou, well known for its garden landscaping art. Visit Lion Forest, one of the four famous gardens in Suzhou and enjoy Panmen Three Scenes. Continue to a silk factory, where you will view a fashion show and learn how silk is made. Then, take your leisure at the ‘No.1 street of Gusu City’, Qilishantang walking street.

Day 4: SUZHOU-HANGZHOU
After breakfast, Move on to Cold Mountain Temple, or Hanshan Temple, to view paintings, inscriptions and other precious artefacts. Depart for Hangzhou. A prosperous and beautiful city, Hangzhou is popularly known as ‘Paradise on Earth’. Take a leisurely cruise on the lovely West Lake, which is enveloped by lush green hills with its clear waters reflecting the surrounding landscape. Then, visit Huagang Park and Longjingwencha, two of the 10 scenic spots of West Lake. Proceed to Hefang Street, a replica ancient street and Longjing Tea Culture Center.

Day 5: HANGZHOU-SHAOXING-HENGDIAN
After breakfast, proceed to Chenghuangge, and then take coach to Shaoxing. Located in the south of the Hangzhou Bay, Shaoxing is a famous historical and cultural city with beautiful sceneries of rivers and lakes. It is the birthplace of many famous scholars, writers and artists, Premier Zhou Enlai, Lu Xun, the novelist, etc. The Dayu's Mausoleum, a temple and mausoleum complex to honor the great-grandfather of China, Emperor Yu, took over a century to build. The East Lake is around 6km east of the city center, featuring beautiful, natural rock formations. The Lanting Pavilion, Wang Xizhi, a master calligrapher of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, gave an account in his Preface to the Lanting Anthology of the ceremony, and ever since, the pavilion has become a "sacred place" among Chinese calligraphers. Thereafter, transfer to Hengdian, The Hengdian World Studio is now a popular film & TV production base and has taken "Chinawood" as its informal title given by a Los Angles-based magazine, The Hollywood Reporter. Last year's blockbuster, Hero, directed by Zhang Yimou, was shot there. You will visit a park “ Watertown in South China” there and enjoy various programmes.

Day 6: HENGDIAN-XITANG-SHANGHAI
After breakfast, proceed to Xitang Water Town, with ancient docks, waterside pavilions and corridors and a romantic atmosphere typical of a Jiangnan water town. Continue to Shanghai, upon arrival, take a cruise to enjoy the various architectural styles of buildings on the Huangpu River bank and take in the charms of this vibrant city. Take Shanghai Sightseeing Tunnel connects the two banks of Huangpu River with modern laser, colorful lights and shadows, ascend the 468-m Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower for panoramic views of the bustling city.

Day 7: SHANGHAI
After breakfast, discover the charms of this vibrant city at Shanghai Bund, visit Shanghai Wax Muesum and take Shanghai magnetic train. Shopping at the Chenghuangmiao Shopping Area and Nanjing Road.

Day 8: SHANGHAI-SINGAPORE
If time permits, you can do some last minute shopping before you transfer to the airport for your flight home.
