Itinerary

Day 1: Singapore - Shanghai - Beijing
Assemble at Singapore Changi International Airport for your flight to Beijing via Shanghai. Upon arrival, visit the Temple of Heaven, which was used for worshipping the heavens & prayer for good harvest by the Ming and Qing dynasty. Then proceed to latest tourist attraction in Beijing - Zhonghua Millennium Memorial symbolizes Chinese history,civilization and culture. After dinner proceed for an exciting Acrobatic Show. (Passengers on Singapore Airlines will fly diect to Beijing)

Day 2: Beijing
After breakfast, visit Tiananmen Square. The Tiananmen Tower, Monument to the People’s Heroes, Great Hall for the People and Mao Zedong Memorial Hall are the main sites on the Square. Take a view of newly-built National Theatre (Shuidan).Next, proceed to the Forbidden City also known as Imperial Palace, once the home of emperors. Within the Forbidden City is the Imperial Palace. It is a remarkable complex of palaces and halls comprising 9,000 rooms. Then tour the immaculate Summer Palace.This Imperial Garden covers an area of 290 hectares. Make a stop at the Deshengmen Tower before we continue to take a Trishaw ride touring the Hutongs and traditional Siheyuan Houses where you may see Old Beijing Shows, and learn more about the culture, history and lifestyle of old Beijing.

Day 3: Beijing
Start the day with a view of the Main Stadium (Birdnest) and National Swimming Complex for Beijing Olympic 2008. Proceed to the Great Wall - one of mankind’s greatest engineering achievements. Next stop at the Ming Tombs. 13 out of 16 Emperors of the Ming Dynasty were buried here. In the afternoon, you will be given free time to do some shopping at Wangfujing Street.

Day 4: Beijing - Nanjing
Depart by domestic flight to Nanjing for a visit to Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall where you will be able to learn a bit of the history of this earth shaking event. Also visit the Jade Carving & Manufacturing Centre. After dinner, you can enjoy shopping spree at the famous Fuzimiao District.

Day 5: Nanjing - Wuxi
After breakfast, visit the Zhonghua Gate, which was one of the biggest Gateway of Nanjing city wall during the Ming Dynasty. Next proceed to Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge. This bridge symbolizes Chinese independence and national pride. After lunch, depart for Wuxi. Upon arrival, tour TaiHu (Lake Tai), the third largest fresh-water lake in China. Turtle Head Islet (Yuantouzhu) is most attractive sightseeing which got its name because its shape resembles a turtle’s head. Also visit Zisha Gallery where you’ll learn how the best quality of Zisha teapot is made.

Day 6: Wuxi - Suzhou
After breakfast, take a familiarization tour of the Three-Kingdoms Movie & TV Studio, located near Taihu Lake. The Studio is the largest in China. After that, visit the Pearl Cultivation Farm. After lunch, depart for Suzhou. Upon arrivel, visit the Canglang Pavillion Garden, which once belonged to an official during the Tang Dynasty and later sold to a famous poet. Next proceed to tour Hanshan Monastery. It was named after a famous tang Dynasty monk.

Day 7: Suzhou - Zhouzhuang - Hangzhou
After breakfast, proceed to the Tiger Hills. Its has a number of historical sites-Tiger Hills, Leaning pagoda, Tomb of King He Lu, Sword pool, Sword testing pool and Luyu Well. Next you will be arranged to visit the Suzhou Silk Gallery. Then depart for Zhouzhuang Water County. Old houses, rivers and bridges surround this traditional Chinese water county. Continue your coach journey to Hangzhou for a visit to the Yuefei Temple, the burial place of General Yue Fei who was an outstanding and patriotic hero of Song dynasty.

Day 8: Hangzhou - Shanghai
Morning, cruise the West Lake, the most famous lake in China for its beautiful sceneries. Next stop at Lingyin Temple. This historical temple was built in 1601 was once able to accommodate up to 3000 monks.Then proceed to Longjing Tea Plantation to have a taste of Longjing Tea, one of China’s best teas. Thereafter, head for Shanghai for a visit to the world famous waterfront- The Bund. It was once part of the foreign concessions and out of-bounds to locals. After dinner, enjoy night view on Huangpu River cruise.

Day 9: Shanghai
After breakfast, you will be given free time to explore Nanjing Road and Chenghuangmiao. After that, explore Qipu Road Market, the largest retail and wholesale market for fashion clothes and other merchandises. Lastly proceed for a city tour to Pudong New District Shanghai’s main financial district.

Day 10: Shanghai-Singapore
