Itinerary
Day 1: DAY-1-SINGAPORE-SAPPORO
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Tokyo. Upon arrival, transfer by flight to Sapporo.

Day 2: DAY-2-SAPPORO-LAKE-TOYAKO
Embark on a city tour in Sapporo. Stop by a famous Japanese Beer Factory to see the production process of one of Japan’s finest beer. Then, visit the famous historical Clock Tower and Government House before proceeding to Odori Park, which bustles with people and has a huge underground shopping mall. Next, head to the famous Susukino Ramen Alley, which has over 10 established ramen restaurants that serve ramen in a miso-flavoured soup, a Hokkaido specialty. Continue to Tanuki Koji Shopping Arcade, the longest shopping street in Hokkaido, for a great shopping spree. Overnight in Lake Toyako region.

Day 3: DAY-3-LAKE-TOYAKO-HAKODATE
Ascend Mt Syouwasinzan, one of Japan's youngest mountains, which has risen from a flat wheat field to its current height of 290 metres between 1943 and 1945. It is still venting sulfurous fumes till today. Feel the hustle and bustle of Hakodate morning market which sells various types of fresh seafood such as kani (crabs), ikura (salmon eggs), uni (sea urchin) and other fresh produce such as melons. Next, visit Goryoukaku Tower where you can view the histories of Goryoukaku and Hakodate on its ground floor. Then, go up to the observatory deck to have a panoramic view of the beautiful Hakodate city. Thereafter, proceed to the Hakodate Factory Akarenga, an old red brick warehouse that has been restored to become a chic dining and shopping area next to the waterfront. Ascend Mt Hakodate where on a clear weather, you can enjoy a spectacular night view of Hakodate. Overnight in a Hakodate onsen resort.

Day 4: DAY-4-HAKODATE-AOMORI
Depart Hakodate and travel by rail through Seikan Tunnel, the world’s longest underwater tunnel linking Hokkaido and Tohoku which spans 54 kilometres under the sea. Arrive in Aomori, the most northern prefecture of Tohoku. Visit the Aomori Apple market which is famous for its apple products. Enjoy complimentary Aomori apples. Proceed to Nebutanosato to view giant doll-shaped floats that have been featured in the Nebuta, a famous Japanese fire festival parade that is held in August yearly. Head to Lake Towada, a volcanic crater perched atop a 400-metre peak. Its deep blue water is enclosed by 2 peninsulas and is dotted by several small islands. Overnight in an onsen resort.

Day 5: DAY-5-AOMORI-IWATE-AKITA
Depart Aomori for Iwate. Stop by Hachimantai National Park which stretches across both Iwate and Akita. Be enthralled by the wonders of nature as you admire the crater lakes, marshes, virgin forests and alpine flora. Visit Kazunofursatokan, a one-stop museum where you can experience Iwate’s cultural handicrafts, food and festivals. Proceed to Koiwai Farm, the largest private ranch in Japan. Besides dairy farming and landscape gardening, it allows visitors to come in close contact with the farm animals. Travel to Akita and visit Akita Mineland to see how precious stones are being mined. You may try gold panning and bring back what you find. Be enchanted by the scenic Lake Tazawa, the deepest lake in Japan. Thereafter, take a stroll along Bukeyashiki, a well-preserved Edo Samurai street to marvel at its old buildings and beautiful surrounding. Proceed to Akita city for some shopping and stay overnight there.

Day 6: DAY-6-AKITA-YOKOHAMA-NARITA
Take a domestic flight down to Kanto and explore the vivid city of Yokohama. Explore Yokohama Chinatown, one of Japan’s largest Chinatown before proceeding to Motomachi which lies at the foot of the Yamate hill. It features the popular and fashionable Motomachi Shopping Street which used to be a shopping area for the foreign community. It still retains a certain European touch. Visit the Ramen Museum which traces the history and evolution of ramen in Japan. You will have your lunch there where you can choose from the various types of delicious ramen. You will also receive an exquisite ramen hamper as souvenir. Travel to Narita and stay overnight there.

Day 7: DAY-7-NARITA-SINGAPORE
If time permits, you can do some last-minute shopping before you transfer to the airport for your flight home.
