Itinerary

Day 1: SINGAPORE - HANOI
Assemble at Changi Airport for your flight to Hanoi, capital of Vietnam. Upon arrival, visit the Ba Dinh Square that equate with the Tiananmen Square of Beijing and the Red Square of Moscow. The Square was where Chairman Ho Chi Minh proclaimed the founding of Vietnamese Democratic Republic in 1945. Chairman Ho was a national hero who led his people in fighting for independence from the French colonial rule. Located at the western end of Ba Dinh Square is the Maosoleum of Ho Chi Minh, which is of typical Vietnamese architectural style. Next, view the Former Residence of Chairman Ho.

Day 2: HANOI – HALONG BAY
After breakfast, enjoy coach ride to the holiday resort of Halong Bay. The magnificent Halong Bay, considered the 8th Wonder of the World, is one of the natural marvels of Vietnam. The 3,000 tiny islands rising from the emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin are dotted with innumerable beaches and grottoes created by the wind and the waves. There are three little bays in Halong Bay, each of which has its own scenic attractions.

Day 3: HALONG BAY – DONGXING – NANNING
After breakfast, cross the border river of Beilun via Dongxing and head on for Nanning, capital of Guangxi. En route, view Mong Cai in Vietnam where you will catch a glimpse of the rustic town.

Day 4: NANNING – DETIAN WATERFALL – NANNING
Set off for Shuolong Town in Daxin County, passing beautiful rural scenes of villages and farmhouses. Be amazed at the spectacular and thundering Detian Waterfall. With a height of 40 metres and 100 meters wide, the fall’s water dashes down the cliff spreading into three large tiers, which look magnificent and tremendous. The marvellous scene varies in different seasons. En route take a view on Shatun Waterfall and Black Water River. Then go back to Nanning.

Day 5: NANNING – GUILIN
Morning, head for Guilin. Explore Guilin’s attraction of Rong Shan Lake. The lake is the new landmark of Guilin, featuring traditional Chinese landscape with pavilions, terraces, towers, ancient city gate, historical ruins, enthousand-year old banyan tree, zigzag bridge and etc. Next stop at Liu San Jie Landscape Garden. Located at Taohua Riverside, it is one of the main attractions in Guilin as well as a memorial park for the famous movie “ Liu San Jie”.

Day 6: GUILIN-LIPU – YANGSHUO
Morning, proceed to elephant Trunk Hill – the symbol of the city. Then travel on to Yangshuo via Lipu passing queer rock formations of all sizes and shapes and marvel the spectacular limestone Cave of yinzi. Upon arrival in Yangshuo, take a stroll along West Street, popular with many Caucasian tourists. At nighfall,at your own expenses, catch the colourful performance of the famous musical show “Impression Liu Sanjie”, choreographed by China’s famous choreographer, Mr. Zhang Yimou. It is unique that over 3,000 performers are mostly local farmers and fishermen.

Day 7: YANGSHUO – HEZHOU
After breakfast, take a cruise on Lijiang River. The poetic and picturesque Li River, like a jade ribbon winding among thousands of the hills, is the important component of Guilin scenery. Thereafter , coach on to Hezhou for a visit of Lingfeng Square.

Day 8: HEZHOU – ZHAOQING
Today visit Gupo Hill-National Forest Park in which the attractions include Fang’s Tea Garden and Jiupuxiang. Hezhou has more than 2000-year history. It is also the site scene filming location of Hong Kong TV series of “Country Spirit”, etc.. Continue your journey to Zhaoqing for a visit to Paifang and Ancient Wall. After dinner proceed to Duanzhou Street for your shopping street.

Day 9: ZHAOQING – GUANGZHOU - SINGAPORE
Bid farewell to Zhaoqing and transfer to Guangzhou airport for your return flight back to Singapore. We hope you have enjoyed your trip with CTC Holidays.
