Itinerary

Day 1: Singapore - Xiamen
Assemble at Changi International Airport for your flight to Xiamen. Upon arrival, be met by our representative and visit Huangdao Road, Bai-Lu Zhou Botanical Garden and Huxi (Tiger Creek) Rock. Legend has it that a tiger was living under the rock near a river, hence the name.
Dinner

Day 2: Xiamen - Wuyishan
Today, we will explore the picturesque island of many rocks-Gulangyu Island, few-minute’s journey by the local ferry. The island has long had the name of “above-the-sea garden”. Possibly due to the beautiful scenery here, people living on the island have a strong liking for music, boasting the highest piano ownership. Next, visit Nanputuo Temple, one of the most respected Buddhist venues in Fujian. Afterwards, depart Xiamen for Wuyishan city by air.

Day 3: Wuyishan
After breakfast, we will take bamboo raft down the Nine-twist Stream, where we can see the spectacular Boat Coffin and lots of splendid scenery. Next, be taken for a tour of Tianyou Peak, the most popular sight on Wuyi Mountain. Enjoy the Wuyishan Farmer’s Meal for dinner.

Day 4: Wuyishan - Fuzhou
After breakfast, visit to Wuyigong Temple built in the Ming Dynasty. The temple was renamed“Chongyuan Temple”. Since it is the largest Daoist temple, people also call it “Wuyi Temple”. Next, we proceed to the south of Ziqu River to visit yuchayuan (Imperial Tea Plantation) with more than 700 years of history in processing tea. You can taste and buy the famous tealeaf here. Then, continue our journey to Fuzhou by train.

Day 5: Fuzhou
After breakfast, begin your sightseeing your to Xican Monastery. It is one of the five most famous Monasteries in Fujian with impressive buildings and surroundings. Next, we’ll visit Linzexu Birthplace, Wu yi Guang Chang and Fuzhou West Lake Public Garden, it was a pleasant stroll looking at all the trees and flowers.

Day 6: Fuzhou – Putian – Quanzhou
This morning, depart Fuzhou to Quanzhou where many magnificent religious structures and priceless works of art are retained around the city. Upon arrival, visit Kaiyuan Temple, the oldest and largest Buddhist monastery in Fujian. Next, stop at overseas Traffic History Museum, Mother’s Temple and Nan Shaolin Temple.

Day 7: Quanzhou – Nan’Ancai-Clan Ancient Dwelling– Xiamen – Chaozhou
After breakfast, visit the unique Nan’an Cai-Clan Ancient Dwellings. These houses are of special architectural style and characteristics. After dinner take coach to Chaozhou.

Day 8: Chaozhou - Shantou
Today’s tour brings you to Kaiyuan Temple, a group of Tang Dynaty buildings built in the Chinese style of quadrangular courtyards. Take a distant view of Xiang Zi Bridge of Chaozhou, built in Song Dynasty, giving it a history of eight centuries. Continue to visit Guangji Gate and the Hanwengong Shrine, built to commemorate Han Yu. Thereafter, procced to Shantou to visit Mayu Island, Binhai Walkway, People’s Square. Enjoy 18 Local Dishes for your dinner.

Day 9: Shantou - Xiamen - Singapore
After breakfast, return to Xiamen and visit aicang Bridge. Upon arrival you are free at leisure till your transfer to the international irport for your flight back to Singapore. We hope you have enjoyed your holiday with CTC holidays.
