Itinerary

Day 1: SINGAPORE-KUNMING
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Kunming.Upon arrival, proceed to Daguanlou Park (Grand View Tower Park), which is famous for its inscriptions by the 18-century poet Sun Ranweng. Next, visit Yuantong Temple which was built at the foot of Yuantong Hill during the Yuan Dynasty (1279-1368), it is one of the ancient temples of Kunming.

Day 2: KUNMING-DALI
Fly to Dali, a historical and cultural city of China. Upon arrival, visit Dali Ancient Town, also called Yeyu City.It was first established in the early Ming Dynasty, a defensive river was surrounding the city. Now the whole features were kept. Next, visit Dali Foreign Tourist Street, which is famous around the world; it becomes a place longing to be visited by foreign tourists. Proceed to take a cable car up to visit the Mt Cangshan. Mt Cangshan enjoys great reputation for its snow, clouds, springs and marble. Enroute, enjoy the scenery of Three Pagodas. Thereafter, visit Dali Xizhou ancient house where you can enjoy the famous Bai Tribe’s tea performance and Dali Filiming Studio for “Tian Long Ba Bu’.

Day 3: DALI-LIJIANG
Today, proceed to Lijiang, home to the Naxi tribe, the oldest tribe in the world. Upon arrival, explore Sifang Street in Lijiang Ancient Town. Proceed to visit the Mu (Wood) Palace, which was the official palace over 470 years. Thereafter, take the cobblestone path that leads uphill along the eastern flanks of Shizi Shan (Lion Hill), which separates the old town from the new. Here, you are able to see the whole town of Lijiang. Tonight, take a night tour around the new town of Shuhe Ancient Town.

Day 4: LIJIANG-LUGU-LAKE
After breakfast, proceed to Ninglang’s pristine Lugu Lake. Upon arrival, visit a Mosuo home and Folk Museum. The Mosuo people spend their entire lives in their maternal family homes and do not marry their lovers. The tribe also practises a matriarchal system with elderly women as the heads of families.

Day 5: LUGU-LAKE-LIJIANG
After breakfast, tour the picturesque Liwubi Island in Lugu Lake. Thereafter, return to Lijiang. Upon arrival, visit Dongbagu Village, where it is built completely according to the traditional life style of Naxi Minority. You can feel the traditional atmosphere of national culture from the layout of its yard, building facilities, tools and details of life.

Day 6: LIJIANG-ZHONGDIAN-SHANGRI-LA
After Breakfast, coach to Zhongdian, also known as Shangri-La. The beautiful yet mysterious Shangri-La has sweeping grasslands and awe-inspiring peaks. Enroute, you will see the First Bend of Yangtze River. Here, the river plunges from a steep and rugged cliff, makes a 180-degree turn from its northwestern course and continues in a northeastern direction. Upon arrival, visit Potatso National Park, where you will visit the Bitahai Lake that is widely recognized as 'A Pearl on the Plateau' and the most attractive lake in Shangri-La. Next, proceed to Shudu Lake where the lake water is so limpid that the people could see the cracked-stomach fish produced in the lake whose colour is golden and there is a crack line along its stomach. Thereafter, visit the local Zang Bazaar and a Zang family.

Day 7: ZHONGDIAN-SHANGRI-LA-KUNMING-JIUXIANG-YILANG
After breakfast, take the flight back to Kunming.  Upon arrival, coach to the Jiuxiang Scenic Area, which offers plenty of karst caves, scenic landscapes, man-made sights and ethnic culture. The Jiuxiang Caves are a cluster of some 100 caves of various sizes, with amazing natural attractions such as the Twin Waterfalls, Divine Fields and Lion Hall that will leave you in awe. Next, visit Qicai Yunnan (Peacock Garden).

Day 8: YILANG-KUNMING
After breakfast, proceed back to Kunming which is China’s famous historic cultural city, is known as “City of Flowers”.  Upon arrival, head for Jinmabiji (Golden Horse and Emerald Chicken) Pavilion, Cuihu Park, and Dongxita Temple.  
Thereafter, visit Luyu Tea-culture center. You may do last minutes shopping.

Day 9: KUNMING-SINGAPORE
After breakfast, take your leisure before your transfer to the airport for your flight home.
