Itinerary

Day 1: Singapore - Guangzhou - Zhangjiajie
Assemble at Changi Airport for your flight to Guangzhou. Upon arrival, transfer to domestic flight to the famous tourist city of Zhangjiajie which is home of China’s first forest park-the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
Dinner

Day 2: Zhangjiajie
This morning, begin your Zhangjiajie tour with a visit to Huangshizhai (cable car included). Enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding on the top of the hill. Next proceed to the Legendary Jinbian Stream. There are numerous impressive sights along the stretch of 5km stream. Continue your tour to tranquil Baofeng Lake at Suoxiyu Valley, enjoying boat ride on the lake.

Day 3: Zhangjiajie
Today, tour to Tianzi Hill – the Ten-mile Art Gallery. Bizarre Karst hills characterize the landscape around Tianzi Hill. Take the cable car up to Tianzi Hill, visit Xihai, Yubifeng and Helong Park etc. Proceed to yuanjiajie Scenic Area. Located at the north of the park, Yuanjiajie is a mesa that overlooks a deep valley and a chain of mountain peaks. Its main scenic spots include “World’s No.1 Bridge”, the Back Garden, and the Stage for Departed Souls. Also you have chance to take the Sightseeing elevator (one way only). Three double-story glass elevators run abreast up the side of the cliff to a plateau near Shuiraosimen, one of the key scenic spots in the park.

Day 4: Zhangjiajie - Phoenix Ancient Town
After breakfast, proceed to Longwang Cave (Dragon King Cave), regarded as one of the biggest and oldest caves in China. Thereafter continue your coach journey to Phoenix Ancient Town (Fenghuang Gucheng). Enroute, visit Wang Village, also called Furong Town.

Day 5: Phoenix Ancient Town- Changde
This morning, start your tour to Phoenix Ancient Town – the most bueatiful town in China. Sightseeing include North-Gate Tower & Former Residence of Shen Congwen, China’s well-known author. Take a boat ride on Tuojiang River to explore unique style of Tujia Houses and scenery on both sides. Continue coach journey to Changde.

Day 6: Changde - Shaoshan - Changsha
After breakfast, visit world well-known Taohuayuan, the fairyland on earth described in Tao Yuanming’s “Accounts of Taohuayuan”. Then we set off for the village of Shaoshan to visit the birthplace and Former Residence of Chairman Mao. Exhibits include wooden pails, hoe and the things that he had used during his childhood. Also visit Statue Square before we travel to Changsha in late afternoon.

Day 7: Changsha- Yueyang- Changsha
After breakfast, travel to yueyang for a visit to yueyang Pavilion, the major landmark of Yueyang city. Also known as one of the three famous pavilions in Jiangnan. Take a view of Dongting Lake. It is a flood-basin of Yangtze River and hence its size depends on the season. However, it is still the second largest fresh-water lake in China. Next, return back to Changsha for your shopping spree at Huangxing Road.

Day 8: Changsha - Guangzhou - Singapore
This morning, visit Mawangdui Museum and Hunan embroidery Hall where you can see precious embroidery collection and great workmanship of Hunan embroidery (Xiangxiu). After lunch transfer to the airport for your flight back to Singapore . We hope you have enjoyed your trip with CTC Holidays.
