Itinerary

Day 1: SINGAPORE – BEIJING – YANJI CITY
Assemble at the Changi International Airport for a luxurious flight to Beijing followed by a domestic flight to Yanji city. Yanji City Campus is in the east of Jilin Province and north of Mt.Changbai. What makes our city special is the combination of Chinese and Korean culture. Upon arrival, check in hotel.

Day 2: YANJI CITY – MT. CHANGBAI (North Slope)
Today we will be heading to Changbai Mountain. Changbai Mountain is a dormant volcano that has erupted thrice. These eruptions gave the mountain its special shape, making this natural scenery extremely charming. It stands in the north-east and is dubbed ‘Guan Dong First Mountain’. It is the Latitude tallest mountain in China and highest peak. It is also where the Mans ethnic came about and was known as the ‘Holy ground’ during the Qing dynasty. Mt.Changbai Tianchi is situated at the mouth of the opening of the volcano and is formed after eons of accumulation of water. Mt.Changbai Tianchi is 2189.1metres from the ground. It is the country’s biggest lake at the volcano. Mt.Changbai has rich resources and is named ‘The Origin of Waters’. The widely known The Changbai Waterfall is located there too. Enjoy Korea Flavor for dinner and watch the Koreans’ song and dance performance.

Day 3: MT.CHANGBAI (West Slope)
After breakfast, we’ll visit Alpine Garden. July each year is the blooming period of the Manshan wildflowers. Next visit Wang Pool. Wang pool is like jasper mounted on the Changbai Qunfeng and the north suspends the Changbai Mountain Ice Cliff. The Ladder River is deep in the ground. After visiting the beautiful Tianchi, proceed to Jinjiang Grand Canyon, Jinjiang Falls and Hot Spring. Jinjiang Grand Canyon is formed from the volcanic magma after eruptions.

Day 4: MT.CHANGBAI – JI’AN – TONGHUA CITY
After breakfast, proceed to Ji’an, the ancient capital Koguryo Kingdom. It is one of China's three major ports opened to Korea. In 3AD, Kogury moved its capital to Guonei, which served as capital for the Kogury regime for 425 years. Upon arrival, visit the General’s Tomb (Jiangjun Fen). It is praised the “Oriental pyramid”. The tombs of this culture developed from earth or stone covered tumuli to attain the classic proportions of the largest Gaogouli-Koguryo (hereafter GK) tombs of the late period that resemble stone pyramids. It is one of the best preserved examples of the latter in China. Next to visit the more famous relic Haotaiwang Stele and “Dunhuang of Northeast Asia” – The 5th Tomb. Koguryo Wang City, aristocratic tombs and tombs in July 2004 in accordance with the cultural heritage included in the selection criteria C “World Heritage List”. Then go to Tonghua city.

Day 5: TONGHUA – DANDONG
After breakfast proceed to Dandong City, the border between China and North Korea. Upon arrival, visit the Broken Bridge. It was bombed by American army from November 1950 to February 1951. The body of the Bridge is light blue, which means the memory of the colonial domination and aggression and the hope for safeguarding the world peace. We’ll cruise the Yalu River and have an ever-close contact with North Korea. Next, visit The Hushan Great Wall, lying on the Yalu River. It is facing North Korea and was built to strengthen the frontier defence in the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). Climbing onto the top steps, you will have a grand view of the beautiful scenery of China and North Korea. Thereafter, proceed to Taiping Bay dam; it also crossed the Yalu River, set foot on the other side. You will feel as if you have come to the land of North Korea, seeing a garrisoning soldier of North Korea.

Day 6: DANDONG – AN’SHAN CITY
After a good rest and breakfast, continue to Anshan City and visit Mt. Qianshan Scenic Area. There are more than 180 scenic spots consisting mainly of exotic pine trees, rocks of grotesque shapes and ancient temples. Lunch today is Farmer Meal. After lunch, visit Jade Buddha Garden, a new temple. Seated inside is the biggest jade Buddha in the world. It was carved from one piece of jade stone that weighed 260.76 tons.

Day 7: AN’SHAN CITY – SHENYANG
In the morning, take coach to Shenyang city, the capital city of Liaoning province and the largest city in Northeast China. Upon arrival, visit Shenyang Imperial Palace. It is founded in 1625; the 380-year-old Shenyang Imperial Palace is one of the few historic Chinese sites that epitomize an ethnic minority culture. You will experience the historical atmosphere at Manqing Street in front of Imperial Palace, where a whole road of the souvenir and handicrafts are sold. Continue the trip by visiting Former Residence of General Chang Hsueh-Liang, Chang Family Commander Mansion.

Day 8: SHENYANG – DALIAN
Today we will go to Dalian city. Dalian faces the sea on three sides. It has many beautiful parks and its streets are lined with trees that are neat and clean. Upon arrival, visit Tiger Beach Square which measures 35.5 meters and 6.5 meters tall. There are six statue of tigers shaped from 500 stones that weigh 2000 tonnes. Next, visit Xinghai Square; it was erected in 1997 to commemorate the reversion of Hong Kong. It sits at the center of the Xinghai business district.

Day 9: DALIAN – LUSHUN – DALIAN
Continue your journey to Lushun to the 203 Highland. As one of the main highlands in Lushun, it was strategically important during Japan-Russia War. Next go to Lushun Navy Harbor. Then return to Dalian through The Binhai Road and The Beida Suspension Bridge. Proceed to Dalian Women Ranger, another must-see spot in Dalian. It is the only female ranger team in China. Next visit Japanese street and Russian street.

Day 10: DALIAN – BEIJING – SINGAPORE
