In the afternoon, depart for the Ananda Samakhom Throne Hall with a stop at a Gems Gallery before arrival for a photo opportunity. Drive by this Italian Renaissance masterpiece in the heart of Bangkok near the Dusit area which was commissioned by King Rama V. This architectural delight features marble imported from Carrara, Italy. Drop by at the Honey Produce Centre before ending the tour at your choice of the hotel, Mah Boon Krong, Chatuchak or Siam Paragon.
Breakfast

Day 3: DAY-3-BANGKOK
Depart for Bang Pa In by coach after breakfast. Engage your visual senses in this Summer Palace rediscovered by King Mongkut in the mid 19th century who was featured in The King and I, a musical by Rodgers and Hammerstein made into a smash hit film starring Yul Brynner in 1956. Lose yourself in the immaculate gardens and eclectic buildings with styles ranging from European Neo Gothic to Thai and Chinese. This popular weekend retreat was expanded and given a distinctly European flavour by King Rama V, the same King who commissioned the Ananda Samakhom Throne Hall in Bangkok. Get ready for another visual treat at Ayutthaya, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991. Ayutthaya was the capital of the strongest Indochina kingdom in the late 14th century with the size and strength to rival Paris at that time. Get a glimpse of this ancient kingdom’s ancient glories which gave modern Thailand it’s name. Visit Wat Mahathat, which borrows heavily from the Khmer style of architecture during it’s Bayon period. See Wat Na Phra Mane, one of the few structures that survived the sack of Ayutthaya by the Burmese in the 18th century. This temple contains the Black Stone Buddha dating from the earlier Mon period. Gaze upon the giant Reclining Buddha 29 metres in length made of brick and plaster at Wat Lokarasutharam, with rectangular feet to show the Buddha’s enlightenment. Enjoy an idyllic cruise back to Bangkok along the River of Kings, the Chao Phraya River with lunch on board. Take in the views of this majestic River as you cruise, and take the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the Royal Palace in Bangkok and Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn as the day comes to an end. In the evening, tuck in for a hearty steamboat dinner and eat to your heart’s content.
