Dubai Travel Guide

Dubai Travel Overview:

An ever-expanding Casablanca oasis of calm and charm in the depths of natural torridity and regional instability, or an eyesore of all the sinful pleasure and creature comforts of a Las Vegas casino in the thick of enduring Islamic traditions of an ancient Muslim stronghold, Dubai's ultimate in leisure and luxury and its understated elegance and exoticism are like no other.

The second largest among the seven sheikhdoms of the United Arab Emirates, Dubai has flourished within merely half a dozen decades from a humble beginning as a fishing village of roaming Bedouin fishermen and pearl divers into a modest port of call for Persian traders, then an oil goliath in Middle East ever since the 1960s, and a premier international commercial, conference, exhibition, recreational and tourist destination it is today.

And despite the paucity of space for development, the audacity of its rulers and urban planners seems boundless.

From Dubai Tower, the world's tallest habitable tower to Dubai Mall, the world's largest shopping mall, from Hydropolis, the first underwater hotel ever built on the planet, to Burj Al Arab, the very first and only 7 star resort and tallest hotel in the world, from the existing three Palm Islands, the world's man-made islands in the shape of the palm, to the World, another ever-exclusive off-shore development in the making that taking the shape of a map of the world, there seems no end to its ambition, nor inhibitions to its imagination.

The most futuristic and fastest growing city of superlatives anywhere, Dubai has got as much or as little as you want. Almost anything goes in this one of the amplest and aridest corners of the planet, and the almost guranteed scintillating, if slightly surreal, glass-and-concrete glory and sun-and-sand glamor among others.

To experience either your laid-back beach resort escape, the fun leisureland family vacation, the romantic sandy paradise honemoon, the dynamic the exciting active pursuit , from within the comfort and concenience of superb tourist infrastructure of 5 star luxury, you should come armed with plenty of plastic money, a sense of adventure and imagination, and a determination to enjoy yourself in an authentic yet exotic Arabian pleasure dome.

You can't really go wrong with all the kaleidoscopic array of emotions and experiences Dubai has to offer, and the only disappointment of your trip is that you don't have enough time and money to enjoy it all and you have to leave. You've been warned!
