Agra Travel Overview:

Features a complex of a stunningly semmetrical white marble palace, reflecting pools, classical gardens and numerious exquisite inlay work, built using labor force of an estimated 20,000 people, white marble, sandstone, precious and semi-precious stones brought in from all over India and central Asia with a fleet of 1000 elephants, and 22 years in the making.

An imposing gateway of 151 feet by 117 feet, rised to a height of 100 feet;

More specifically, Agra features four distinct seasons, including the crazy hot Summer or pre-monsoon season from April to June when the outside air temperature would read as high as 46 degrees Celsius, the soaking wet monsoonal season from July to Semtepber during which period about 67 cm of rainfall annually would accumulate, the post-monsoon season from October to December when the rains begin to diminish and the clouds begin to recede, and a chilly winter when the temperature falls regularly below 5 degrees Celsius and occasionally below freezing.
Given Agra's varied temperatures and other unpredictable weather conditions at both ends of the scale, packing and wearing what's best in line with the weather would be an essential part of your travel plan before your hassel-free trip in Agra.
If you happen to call at town in March, October or November, which are the best, weatherwise speaking, seasons to visit, rest assured that you have most realistically ruled out the risk of ruining you happy holiday with either extreme heat, rain or significant cold and the the minimum number of the very casual kind of loose-fitting cotton clothing and a pair of comfortable walking shoes would suffice while sightseeing and shopping during the daytime.
For cooler evenings during these months and the cold winter months, light woolens are preferable. Pullovers or cardigans are sufficient during daytime. When things get worse, like the positively bone-chilling cold waves, you would want to require heavy woolen clothing and long coats.
Given the extreme power of the sun during summer, as well as the devoutly practiced religious believes in this part of the world, you might want to avoid exposing your skin as much as possible.
